Roulette Playing Strategy
Many players make the mistake of thinking that they can beat roulette. In reality, they have no chance, because roulette is a game of PURE chance. Play all types of numbers, but in the long run, the house will get the better of you. This game does not incorporate any element of skill, it is based on luck and literally nothing else, so bear that in mind before you play.
That being said, there are some exceptions to this rule. Sometimes dealers do not mix up the way they are spinning the ball and this can mean that they spin it the same time every single time. With this knowledge in hand, some players can actually manage to predict sections that the ball might land in and therefore are able to create a profit in the long term. Remember, this is very rare and even this strategy is flawed in the long run.
Another thing to consider is whether or not the wheel is old or faulty. Over time, a wheel can become inbalanced, or get grooves in it that mean it shows a bias towards certain sections or numbers. In this scenario there is a chance that a player could get an edge on the house by betting on certain sections. Of course, if a small time roulette player could pick up on this fact, then the chances are that the casino would also pick up on this too and would replace the wheel and ball almost instantly. The chances of the casino not noticing themselves losing money is extremely slim, if not, unrealistic!
Alot of casinos will incorporate an electronic display system which means they will show the last numbers that came out; usually around 12 numbers in total. Alot of players use the information on this board to try and predict which numbers are going to come out. The reality is that there is no bias on most wheels, so those numbers do not make any difference as to what will come out next. There is no system to date which has beaten a roulette wheel in the long term and there if not likely to be one in the future either.
Gaming as a whole has evolved a lot over the centuries and even in the last couple of years. Back in the day you played cards that you could physically hold in your hands or dice you could physically throw. You’d place your roulette bets with chips you could physically touch. Now all the action is taking place online. Not only roulette, but all sorts of games are now mostly played online. And that means the player has to re-think it’s strategy.
Nowadays, it’s not about finding a biased wheel or counting cards, it’s about choosing a respectable site to play at.
